Caution! Border crossing (script and drawings: Štěpánka Jislová, 5 pages, 2015)

Human trafficking carries quite a different connotation in the countries of Eastern bloc, especially when it comes to human smugglers. The symposium Superheroes of Eastern bloc encouraged its participants to come up with their own unique perspective on this issue and as a result, a group of Czech and German comics artists spent wonderful fourteen days at Klenova castle, making our comics stories on said theme. My comics is inspired by the book by Ivo Pejčoch called The Women of the 3rd resistance and the story based on the life of Jarmila Pšeníčková, one of the most successful female smugglers and all her colleagues.
